The Dollhouse and Toy Museum

of Vermont

The museum contains a permanent collection of dollhouses, from

a simple cape cod house to elaborate Victorian houses. In addition

to the dollhouses and many dolls, there also are trains and trucks on display as well as educational toys.

The museum is open Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1 to 4 pm year round or by appointment or by chance.

The museum is located at 212 Union Street, Bennington, Vermont.

Admission fee: $2.00 for children 3 and older and $4.00 for adults.

The museum is in an 1850s victorian house that looks like a dollhouse. The entrance hallway features a photo history of Union and Valentine Streets. The museum is on the corner of Union and

Valentine Street. The museum is also home for VT MoMA, that is

Vermont Museum of Miniature Art.

We have reopened and will be on our regular schedule 1 to 4 pm

on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. At this time we ask that you

wear a mask during your visit. Our newest exhibit is on the  Women’s Suffrage Movement.

Please note that if you are in Bennington at a time the museum

is not scheduled to be open, if I am free I can open it for you.
